Job description
Primary
Purpose
Responsible for Purchase of Laboratory Equipment’s, Laboratory chemicals as per user requirements and
routine R&D Store Activity.
Duties and
Responsibility
A. Purchase of Chemicals and Capex items
1. Co-ordination of chemical orders from scientists\TL
2. Raising Purchase requisition in SAP
3. Request for quotation from approved supplier
4. Negotiation , price tabulation, approval from respective stake holder.
5. Issuing POs for Equipment / Lab Chemical / consumables and follow-up with supplier for
dispatch and delivery of Lab chemicals and equipment
6. Vendor development
7. Goods receipt note in SAP
8. Bill Passing
9. In time payment by coordination with finance team
10. Procurement documentation
B. Store Management:
1. Entry of chemicals in database
2. Arranging chemicals in store as per MSDS and store management
3. Barcode each chemical bottle\vessel etc
4. Loaning and receiving of chemical from scientist
5. Avoid duplication of ordering through proper inventory management
