Duties & Responsibilities
Video Editing: Edit and assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director's or client's vision. Storytelling: Contribute to the storytelling process by selecting the most compelling shots and sequences. Cutting and Splicing: Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film. Color Correction: Enhance video quality through color correction and grading. Audio Editing: Sync and edit audio tracks, including voiceovers, music, and sound effects. Graphics and Animation: Incorporate graphics, animations, and special effects as needed. Collaboration: Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project requirements. Feedback: Accept and incorporate feedback, making necessary changes to achieve the desired outcome. Equipment Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest video editing software, techniques, and equipment. Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output. File Management : Organize and manage project files efficiently. Deadline Adherence: Work within tight deadlines without compromising quality. Communication: Effectively communicate with team members, providing updates on project progress. Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and solve technical issues that may arise during the editing process. Client Interaction: Work closely with clients to understand their vision and incorporate their feedback into the final product. Adaptability: Stay adaptable and open to trying new techniques and styles. Quality Control: Ensure the final output meets the required technical specifications and quality standards. Archiving: Archive and backup projects to prevent data loss. Feedback Loop: Establish a feedback loop to continually improve the editing process. Training and Development: Stay committed to personal and professional development by attending relevant workshops or training sessions. LOCATION: Kozhikode, Kerala, India QUALIFICATION: Bachelors/Diploma in relevant field EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2-3 years experience Age : We are looking for candidates aged 20-27 for this role SKILLS: Final cut Pro, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe premier pro, Adobe after effects.Job tags
