About the Role This position is an analyst role responsible for Global DCs and network level Procurement for all Supplies related to Office supplies, Warehouse supplies, Maintenance supplies and assisting in opening Capital purchase orders. The role will also be responsible for working with vendors in pricing/product selection as well as payment/quality resolution. What You'll Do Divisional Procurement : Sourcing, Creating PO's for Warehouse and Maintenance supplies, managing vendor deliveries, Ops-Global Sourcing-Vendor meetings, Determining Order quantities for IB and OB supplies, Processing Invoices for payments (receiving PO in system / closing the PO's in the system as well, Vendor inquiries for payments etc, Open PO Reporting for month end & Forecast. Capital Purchase Orders : Liason with Project management teams, Create PO's, Receive in PO's in the system for payment, connect with HQ team for any queries. Finance team: Provides support to Finance Analyst for month-end close and Forecast activities.Provide detailed reporting to accurately forecast the upcoming spend in each of the categories listed above. Prepare Open PO list with details to accrue invoices at the month-end close to accurately capture the cost for the month. Other duties as required. Daily interaction with the Finance team, Sourcing team and Vendors.Role will have frequent interaction with various Campuses across DC network and DC Leadership.Will work via e-mail and phone with other support departments; corporate, DC Finance, and peers across network. This position requires the ability to work independently and support various time zones. A strong candidate will be able to develop and implement data analysis leveraging our systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality. You must be able to deal with complex analysis while finding patterns and trends in the analyzed data. This individual will have a continuous improvement mindset with a focus on automation. Who You Are Professional skills & abilities: · Solid understanding of Accounting, Financial. · PC Proficiency: Advanced Excel, Microsoft Word, MS Outlook, MS Access, PowerPoint. · Proficiency in Gap-centric Business Systems; (Oracle, and Gap Inc. Finance SaaS) or equivalent work experience with Procurement systems. · Must have solid understanding in dealing with high value procurement. · Strong time management & prioritization skills · Able to meet deliverables with high level of accuracy · Self-directed in completing repetitive tasks · Resourceful in utilizing network & business partners · Solid written communication · Solid verbal communication · Customer Focus · Flexibility Educational Level: · Diploma in Administration/Finance or equivalent work experience. Required Experience: · 3 plus years of work experience in a Procurement position or in a similar Warehouse environment · 3 plus years of working experience in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
