Overview
As a Cloud Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions to meet the organization's business, technical, and security requirements. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping the cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement cloud architecture solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Design and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable cloud architecture designs.
- Implement and manage DevOps practices, tools, and technologies in the cloud environment.
- Ensure cloud infrastructure is secure, compliant, and adheres to best practices.
- Optimize cloud resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and performance.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development and operations teams.
- Conduct research and evaluation of new cloud technologies and service providers.
- Participate in capacity planning and performance management activities.
- Lead and contribute to the development of cloud governance policies and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Create and maintain documentation for cloud architecture and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in cloud computing.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role.
- Expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Oracle, Google Cloud).
- Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts and technologies.
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- In-depth knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
- Experience in implementing cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Ability to design and implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions in the cloud.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Professional Cloud Architect are a plus.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with serverless computing and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of hybrid cloud environments and cloud migration strategies.
