Job description
Preliminary preparations for the examination:
To administer examinations in a disciplined and effective manner, ensuring absolute confidentiality in the process. To preserve and manage the data from the module handbooks on the assessment plan on a semester basis. Preparation of Examination Stationery (answer books, transcripts, degrees, etc.) Conducting the examination and preparing the results in real-time.
* To coordinate the assessment process by ensuring the timely evaluation of answer sheets according to the predetermined schedule for results.
* To maintain records of each assessment component on a semester basis.
* To assist in the processing of results on a semester basis.
* To assist in the declaration of results on a semester basis.
Post-examination tasks involve the ongoing evaluation of the examination system to improve impartiality and objectivity, making it a more effective tool for judging student achievements.
* To establish a system for resolving complaints and grievances (on a semester basis)
* To address the emails for verification and reassessment from students
* To organise the distribution of degrees, diplomas, and certificates during the convocation ceremony.
* To provide duplicate transcripts or degrees in case of loss.
* To regularly share quantitative and other examination information with the UGC and state government.
Ensure strict adherence to all protocols and regulations in accordance with the guidelines set by the UGC, NAAC, and other relevant bodies.
Eligibility :
1. A Masters degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
2. Minimum five years of administrative experience as Assistant Controller of Examination or in an equivalent position.
Skills set required:
1. Working knowledge of examination software and results automation
2. Ability to maintain confidentiality in departmental activities
3. Good English language writing and conversational skills
