Job description

The GM should be a dynamic individual who will play a pivotal role in the organization, providing
leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight of the company. Reports directly to the
Managing Director, the GM will be responsible for driving the business performance, ensuring its
alignment with organizations objectives, and playing a key role in contributing to the overall success of
the company.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership
 Develop and implement business strategies to achieve short and long-term company objectives.
 Collaborate with the board or company owners to set goals, performance benchmarks, and
prioritize technological integrations.
 Oversee the development of new products or services and ensure the company's offerings
remain competitive.
 Oversee the exploration and implementation of AI and tech solutions to elevate the company's
market offerings and operational capabilities.
2. Financial Management
 Oversee the company's financial performance, investments, and other business ventures to
achieve a monthly turnover target and beyond.

 Develop and manage annual budgets, with special emphasis on tech and AI investment ROI.
 Ensure the company's financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation.
3. Operational Oversight
 Streamline business processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, productivity, and
functionality.
 Monitor and manage the sourcing, processing, production, distribution, and sales of marble and
related products.
 Ensure optimal utilization of resources, including manpower, machinery, and raw materials.
4. Sales & Marketing Leadership
 Direct and oversee the company's marketing strategies, branding efforts, and customer relations
to maintain a prominent market presence.
 Analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and set sales targets.
 Ensure the sales team meets or exceeds set targets and contributes to the company's
profitability.
5. Technology Implementation Lead initiatives to integrate AI and technological advancements into business operations to
enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
 Collaborate with IT and tech teams to identify areas of operational improvement and deploy AI
solutions.
 Stay updated on the latest AI trends and ensure the company remains at the forefront of tech-
driven innovation in the marble industry.
6. Team Management & Development
 Lead, mentor, and develop a forward-thinking managerial team.
 Oversee recruitment, training (especially in new tech tools), performance evaluation, and
retention of key personnel.
 Foster a growth-oriented, accountable, and collaborative company culture.
7. Stakeholder Relations
 Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, business partners, and key clients.
 Represent the company at conferences, trade fairs, and networking events.
 Address concerns or issues related to clients, partners, or staff promptly and professionally.
8. Compliance & Risk Management
 Ensure compliance with legal standards, industry regulations, and environmental guidelines.
 Identify business risks and implement measures to manage and mitigate them.
Required Qualifications:
 Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field. MBA or related
advanced degree is preferred.
 Proven experience with a minimum of 10 years in a managerial or leadership role, preferably within
the marble, granites, tiles & sanitary or related industries.
 Strong understanding of the industry, including sourcing, processing, sales, and distribution.
 Familiarity with business functions such as HR, Finance, and Marketing.
 Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
 Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
 Proficiency in financial planning, budgeting, and business analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
 Experience in a tech-driven environment or a marble company that emphasizes technological
innovation.
 Prior experience in a marble company or related sector with a significant turnover.
 Network of contacts within the marble industry or related fields.
 Ability to adapt to a dynamic business environment and drive innovation.
