About the candidate –

An ideal can be an MBA graduate with 12+ years of experience in a business development role, including hunting. A person should be open to an individual contributor role. The candidate is strongly connected with CFOs, Owners of family-owned businesses, the Board of Directors, and a well-funded Start-up fraternity, and the C-Suite is a MUST. Experience in an Indian-owned, professionally managed services company (not a product sales background) would be an added advantage. Key Competencies – 1. This is a high-impact Individual Contributor role for the company with owning a complete region. 2. Takes ownership of New (New Revenue from New Clients) Revenue. New-Existing (New Revenue from Existing clients) and Existing-Existing Revenue are owned by Delivery teams. 3. The position offers the opportunity to evolve into a leadership role with Business Development Managers reporting into this role (based on the growth of the region) 4. Monthly Forecast and Quarterly Targets 5. Create Opportunities in CRM and follow the Cadence. 6. Forecast Accuracy and accountability. 7. Work closely with the Delivery team in closing the deals and collaborating in starting the projects on time. 8. Responsible for collecting the invoice amount on time.

9. Sales specialist who understands Finance (not a Finance specialist who is trying to transition to Sales) 10. Past track record of having met sales targets in ‘concept selling’, ‘trust businesses, and ‘consultative selling’ is important. 11. Having Strong connections with CFOs, Owners of Family-Owned Businesses, Board of Directors, well-funded Start-up fraternity and a C-Suite is a MUST 12. Successful experience of having sold to Family-Owned Businesses, Start-ups, and Indian and MNC corporates. 13. Comes from an Indian-owned, professionally managed services company (not product sales background) 14. Comes from a company with a ‘challenger mindset’ (i.e. not the biggest company in its niche) Comes from a company that relies on individual salesperson initiative as much as its brand to close sales (i.e. salespeople that owe their success to the ‘pull factor’ of large brands of their employers or are overly reliant on referrals from their overseas partners are not preferred)
