Purpose of Job:

The role of Data Analyst shall be to work on analyses and reporting for businesses to support key decisions at Mahindra Finance. Data Analysts will deliver strategic analyses for CXO / Business Head level stakeholders and lay the groundwork for key decisions in the company.

Responsibilities

1. Shall be the specialist on Data Analytics vertical. Shall collaborate with business managers to solve their business-data-challenges and provide impactful insights
2. Shall deliver strategic analyses and participate in important business decisions
3. Shall interact with multiple members from client side by meeting them, interviewing them, taking data and processing it.
4. Shall create insights from data extracted from business units and convert them actionable recommendations
5. Shall be hands on with use of Data Science tools like Python, Azure Data Factory, SQL. Ability to self-process the data and come out with insights is a must.

• Shall be able to apply techniques like Decision Trees, k-means clustering, etc. techniques to data problems.

Knowledge

· Python, SQL, Azure Data Factory, Knowledge of Tableau is a plus

· Ability to synthesize large chunks of information and data from multiple people and files into summary documents in digestible format

Basic understanding of loan process / finance business and/or Accounting is a plus

Qualifications

· Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering (CS/EE/Math) or Management,

Expertise in Data Science, ML, Math

· 3+ years' programming experience

· 2+ years' experience as a data analyst or data engineer

· MBA is a plus
