Job Overview: As a Product Manager at Intex Group, you will be responsible for driving the success of our product line through strategic market analysis, sourcing, and effective product management. This role requires extensive travel across India for market surveys and collaboration with cross-functional teams, with the majority of work based in Delhi.
Responsibilities:
Market Survey and Insights:
- Conduct thorough market surveys across India to identify trends, consumer preferences, and market demands.
- Analyze market insights to make informed product recommendations, including suggestions on product features, pricing, and positioning.
Gap Analysis:
- Identify gaps in the current product offerings by comparing them to market demands and competitor offerings.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategies to fill these gaps and enhance the product portfolio.
Sourcing of Products:
- Source new products, components, and technologies from domestic and international suppliers.
- Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely product availability.
Competition Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of competitor products, pricing strategies, and market positioning.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on the competitive landscape to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Product Training to Sales Team:
- Develop and conduct comprehensive product training programs for the sales team.
- Provide sales teams with in-depth knowledge about product features, benefits, and unique selling points.
Travel:
- Undertake approximately 15 days of travel per month to various locations across India for market surveys, supplier visits, and other business-related activities.
- Collaborate remotely with the team in Delhi during non-travel days.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and marketing, to align product strategies with overall business objectives.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination among different departments to streamline product development and launch processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of work experience
- Salary package: As per industry standards.
- Proven experience as a Product Manager in a similar industry.
- Strong analytical skills for market research, gap analysis, and competitor assessment.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to travel extensively within India.
