Position Summary
In this position as SAP Data Migration Expert the incumbent will support SAP Data Migration Projects & operational tasks in LANXESS.
The expert will work with Business and IT stakeholders to identify required Data Objects & collect it from various sources, cleans and transform based on the S/4HANA template.
Support Data Validations with Business, develop migration tools (ETL) and test them to complete Data Migration and Business Validations.
In this role candidate will be part of a Global Team and work with our Global Stakeholders.
The candidate needs to align with SAP Functional and Technical teams, Data Governance organization to deliver and continuously improve and maintain Data Quality by working on Data Migration service.
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years’ experience on SAP Data Migration on medium/large ERP implementations
- Handled minimum end to end 3 SAP Migration projects (at least one out of them in SAP S/4HANA)
- Good Understanding of Data Migration life cycle and phases
- Must have developed Data Migration Concept and approach for multi-year multi country global rollout programs (template, pilot & waves)
- Expertise in SAP ADM (Advance Data Migration) tool by Syniti, SAP Migration Cockpit & MS SQL, LSMW (Legacy Migration Workbench)
- Knowledge about BIG3 Data specially Suppliers (Vendors)
- Functional understanding of Business processes in Procurement, Sales, Logistics and Production
- Strong Stakeholder management skills
- Experienced on delivering work using Waterfall methodology
- Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge effectively. Ability to build credible relationships with peers and Business colleagues
- Highly proactive, self-organized, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with good written/verbal communications in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Logical thinking and problem-solving skills along with an ability to collaborate
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science or other related analytical or technical disciplines with experience in Manufacturing Industry (Chemical) will be an advantage
- Experience in ETL / Data Migration / Data Quality / Data Analysis
- Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
- Database experience : SQL Server
- Proficient in MS Office Excel / Word / PowerPoint
