Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure SQL Database Developer to join Fusion Practices Limited. As an Azure SQL Database Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure SQL databases, with a primary focus on ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Azure SQL technologies and a solid understanding of Power Apps.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain Azure SQL databases to meet business requirements.
- Optimize database performance, ensuring responsiveness and efficiency.:
- Develop and maintain data models for effective database design.
- Collaborate with architects to design scalable and secure database architectures.
- Write and optimize complex T-SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues.
- Implement and enforce data security measures to safeguard sensitive information.
- Establish and maintain database backup and recovery procedures.
- Collaborate with application developers to integrate database functionality.
- Provide support and guidance to development teams on database-related tasks.
- Possess a working knowledge of Power Apps.
- Integrate Power Apps with Azure SQL databases for seamless application development.
- Maintain Azure DevOps code repository.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Azure SQL Database Developer.
- In-depth knowledge of T-SQL and database performance optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with data modeling tools and techniques.
- Strong understanding of data security and compliance.
- Experience in designing and maintaining scalable database architectures.
- Familiarity with Power Apps development is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
