Product Management Documentation- Subject Matter Expert

Seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Product Management Documentation Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for ensuring our product management processes are well-documented, efficient, and scalable. The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of product development lifecycles, exceptional writing skills, and the ability to distill complex product information into clear, concise, and actionable documentation. This position requires a combination of technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a passion for creating high-quality documentation that supports product strategy and execution. Additionally, the candidate should have basic understanding of Data management and business intelligence solutions.

Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive documentation for product management processes, including but not limited to product roadmaps, feature specifications, release notes, and user guides. Collaborate with project managers, DBA, and other cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for documentation creation and updates. Establish and implement documentation standards, templates, and best practices to ensure consistency and high quality across all product management materials. Conduct thorough reviews of existing documentation to identify gaps, redundancies, or outdated information and make recommendations for improvements. Serve as a liaison between the product management team and other departments, ensuring that all documentation effectively communicates product features and processes. Provide guidance and training to team members on documentation best practices and tools. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies related to documentation and product management to continuously improve our documentation strategy.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Communication, Information Technology, Business, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical writing or documentation, specifically within a product management or software development environment. Strong understanding of product management concepts, tools, and methodologies. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail. Experience with documentation tools Ability to work independently and manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Proactive and self-motivated, with a continuous improvement mindset.
