Job Title: Time Manager (Manufacturing Factory)

Location: KATHUA JAMMU

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Time Manager to join our manufacturing factory team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in time management within a manufacturing environment. The Time Manager will be responsible for optimizing production schedules monitoring production efficiency and implementing strategies to improve overall factory productivity and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely completion of orders while maximizing efficiency and minimizing downtime.
  2. Collaborate with department managers to coordinate production schedules with staffing levels equipment availability and material supply to meet production targets.
  3. Monitor and track production progress against established schedules identifying and addressing any deviations or delays.
  4. Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline production processes and eliminate waste.
  5. Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to schedule equipment maintenance and repairs to minimize disruptions to production.
  6. Conduct regular meetings with production teams to communicate schedule changes address concerns and gather feedback for process improvement.
  7. Develop and maintain documentation of production schedules performance metrics and process improvements for reporting and analysis.
  8. Train and mentor production supervisors and team leaders on time management best practices and productivity improvement techniques.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends best practices and technological advancements in manufacturing scheduling and time management.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering Operations Management or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in time management or production planning within a manufacturing environment.
  3. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes production scheduling principles and lean manufacturing concepts.
  4. Proficiency in using ERP systems production scheduling software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  5. Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret production data and implement effective solutions.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
  7. Proven leadership ability with experience in coaching mentoring and motivating production teams.
  8. Detailoriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  9. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures relevant to manufacturing operations.
  10. Experience with Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
