Job description
We're looking for a Senior Content Lead with a strong B2B SaaS background who can help us grow Storylane's brand through content.
Our goal is clear. We want to produce top-notch content and get it out there. We want to win over our community and make a name for ourselves in our market for having the best content, period.
Responsibilities:
- Manage at least two content projects per quarter, overseeing them from start to finish.
- Regularly bring new ideas to our existing content plans to grow Storylane's brand.
- Daily work with our SEO team to produce content that ranks #1 on Google.
- Identify opportunities for partnerships with other brands and creators for co-branded content, like industry reports using shared user data or transforming webinars into ebooks.
- You're not just a strategist, you're also an executor of these strategies.
- Convert our podcast and video interviews, internal team insights, and playbooks into leading content, that positions us as thought leaders in demo automation software category.
Qualifications:
- You've spent atleast 5+ years in B2B SaaS content marketing. You know the pros - names like Brian Balfour and Jimmy Daly should ring a bell.
- You're a top-tier content marketer. You've moved past the basics. You aim to create unique, impactful content that sets our brand apart, goes viral, and converts audiences into solid leads and sales.
- You're entrepreneurial. Launched your own content thing before Like a blog, podcast, or YouTube channel Show us you can build a media brand from scratch.
- You have a deep interest in SaaS sales and marketing topics. We're talking real passion for stuff like conversion optimization, social selling, product-led sales and the works.
- You're a perfectionist in crafting not just great, but groundbreaking content.
- You can fully own your projects. From the first idea to laying out the strategy, from planning to getting it done.
- You have a network of reliable contractors/freelancers you've previously collaborated with for diverse content projects. For example, an amazing short-form video content guy, BOFU content writer etc.
You'll be well supported by our Head of Marketing and Head of Content in this role. Imagine us as a dream team of independent content creators, each developing unique content brands within the Storylane umbrella.
