Job description
Big Data Delivery Manager : Experience And Qualifications Required 8 - 10+ years of experience in Solutions delivery, with recent experience in data & analytics. Extensive experience in delivering large-scale Data projects using Sprint delivery or Kanban delivery. Technical knowledge of Hadoop platforms, DWH and data and analytics tools and technologies, preferably Cloudera platform, Azure cloud ,SAS, Power BI, . Knowledge and experience in various aspects of IT solution delivery, such as architecture, security, quality, capacity, application development and testing, and live support. Experience in migrating Data Lake solutions and reports. Self-motivated problem solver; able to thrive in a dynamic and result-driven environment. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Makes reasonable judgments quickly and adjusts thinking to assimilate new information. Experience in working banking and financial domain. Key Responsibilities :
Project Planning and Initiation: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Create a detailed project plan with tasks, timelines, and resource allocation. Identify and manage project stakeholders. Team Management: Assemble and lead a cross-functional project team. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members. Provide guidance and support to team members. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment. Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, including human resources and technology. Monitor resource utilization to ensure efficient project execution. Budget Management: Develop and manage the project budget. Monitor project expenses and ensure adherence to the budget. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor project risks and take corrective actions as needed. Communication: Maintain open communication channels with stakeholders, team members, and project sponsors. Provide regular project updates, status reports, and performance metrics. Scope Management: Ensure that the project stays within the defined scope. Handle scope changes by assessing impacts and obtaining necessary approvals. Quality Assurance: Define quality standards and ensure that they are met throughout the project. Implement testing and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Change Management: Manage changes in project scope, objectives, or requirements. Assess the impact of changes and communicate them to relevant stakeholders. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes. Generate progress reports and present project updates to stakeholders. Conflict Resolution: Address conflicts and issues that arise during the project. Facilitate effective problem-solving and decision-making within the team. Closure and Evaluation: Ensure the successful completion of the project's deliverables.
