The Role: Sr. Specialist, Financial Analysis

The Team: This position is part of India Finance team of SP Global, consisting of around 25 members.

The Impact:

• Responsible for Accounting-related activities with accuracy and in a timely manner.
• MIS Reporting
• Responsible for meeting the Statutory Compliances of the entities in scope, within the Due date.
• Coordinating with statutory auditors and internal auditors as part of the finalization of audits and Banks and other vendors as part of regular business operations.
• Following SOPs and laying focus on the smooth functioning of the process by implementing Lean methods that align with the corporate policies.

Responsibilities:

• This position is primarily responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the Accounting Process, Revenue accounting, coordinating with auditors, banks, and outsourced partners, and handling other finance activities assigned from time to time and reports to the Associate Director - Finance.
• Close the books on a monthly basis, ensure reconciliations of GLs/schedules of financial statements on monthly/quarterly/annual basis as per the requirement, appropriately recording any deviations and corrective measures undertaken immediately
• Participation in the finalization of financials, IT returns, and GST-related returns.
• Document and Implement the business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Prepare reports for Management on a monthly basis and other reports as and when required

What We re Looking For:

• Good communication skills, able to understand the business and communicate to Business managers appropriately
• Good working knowledge in ERP environment for Financial Accounting. Exposure to Oracle Financial is preferable.
• Having good accounting knowledge as per Indian GAAP. Knowledge of US GAAP is an added advantage.
• Knowledge in Direct and Indirect tax compliance requirements.
• Experience in finalization of accounts.
• Work experience in MNCs is preferable.
• Good English communication skills.
• Good working knowledge in MS Office

Basic Qualifications: Professional Degree in Accountancy with 4 to 6 years of working experience in MNC is preferable.
