Who You Are:
This position will be in Hyderabad, India but you will be working closely with the team in the United States through video chat, instant messaging, e-mail, phone, and our software. It is important that you have excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral. We are a fast-paced company that is expanding rapidly, and we are seeking team members who will share our vision for the future and work collaboratively to accomplish Base8 goals. We pride ourselves on providing superior service to our clients, which includes having attention to detail, following the processes in place, and being able to adapt to a variety of situations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with the Sales and Technical staff to interpret project specifications and drawings, determining system layout
- Work with staff to interpret project specifications and drawings, determining system layout.
- Engage in communications with our vendor partners on an as-needed basis
- Requires communication and coordination with other departments to resolve customer complaints or inquiries
- Promptly resolves questions and problems related to assigned areas raised by customers.
- Builds and maintains business relationships with clients by providing prompt and accurate services to promote customer loyalty
- Review plans where a design was prepared by others (i.e.: MEP or FPE firm)
- Review specifications where a design was prepared by others (i.e.: MEP or FPE firm)
- Perform takeoff and prepare counts of equipment and devices from floor plans
- Monitor and manage support services such as maintenance of project paperwork to include contracts, revisions, estimates, work drawing and specifications
- Must be able to work extended hours to support timelines.
- Performs other related duties as required and/or assigned
Education/Certification:
- Bachalor degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science or other technical field or equivalent experience preferred.
- Must have previous experience in commercial security systems design.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Possess a working knowledge of low voltage communications systems
- Must demonstrate experience with PDF markup tools (Bluebeam preferred)
- Must demonstrate computer literacy, including such programs as MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Prefer 3+ years industry experience
Knowledge:
- Actively participate in personal and professional development and maintain knowledge of current and new technologies that the company offers
- Have proficient knowledge of the product lines and related parts used by ADT Commercial

Abilities:
- Ability to read schematic and/or construction plans is preferred
- Ability to read architectural, mechanical and electrical blueprints and have a solid understanding of basic electrical and mechanical control systems
- Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, delays or unexpected events; manage competing demands; change approach or method to best fit the situation
