Work directly with the CFO and deal teams/portfolio companies
Job Description
He/She will be responsible for E&S Due Diligence on various industries (Preferably agri-food, process Industries) and related sectors
Implementation of ESG policies at fund level and assisting portfolio companies on the same
Development of fresh Environmental & Social Management System
Collecting and reporting E&S KPIs and incidents
Calculation of Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 carbon emissions for portfolio companies
Physical and transition risk assessment at transaction and/or portfolio level using proprietary/external data or tools
Reporting under emerging frameworks viz., SFDR, SEC and TCFD
The Successful Applicant
Managing an ESG portfolio in PE or VC funds and/or commercial banks/BIG 4's/Environmental Management/Consulting companies
Interaction with DFIs and/or large investors at transaction or portfolio level
Driving ESG in early stage/small companies/ MSMEs
Soft Skills: Proficient in handling large data sets in MS Excel, deliver high quality products under tough deadlines while working with portfolio companies, deal teams and consultants, be an adept leaner and abreast of changing legal/non-legal ESG landscape
3-6 years of experience in ESG
Location: Mumbai
