Job description
We are looking for a Personal Assistant to Creative Director, Gaurav Gupta. The candidate should be able to manage both administrative duties, of managing the Creative Directors calendar with more operational and business strategic tasks.

- Work closely and effectively with the Director to keep him well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, and follows up appropriately. Acts as a 'barometer,' having a sense for the issues taking place in the internal and external environments.
- Complete a variety of special projects including creating PowerPoint presentations, financial spreadsheets, special reports, and agenda material.
- Occasionally travelling with Director to take notes or dictation at meetings or to provide general assistance during business trips.
- Deputizing for the Director, making decisions and delegating work to others in his absence.
- Ensure the Director is fully briefed on, or prepared for engagements he is involved in.
- Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks for the Director including managing an extremely active calendar of appointments, plan, coordinate and ensures the Director's schedule is followed.
- Determine priority of matters of attention for the Director; redirect matters to staff to handle, or handle matters personally, as appropriate.
- Keep the Director advised of time-sensitive and priority issues, ensuring appropriate follow-up.
- Filing and retrieving corporate records, documents, and reports.
- Provide general administrative support
- Handle printing, faxing, mail/overnight packages, copying, filing, and email/messages.
- Compose and prepare letters relating to routine correspondence for the Director's signature.
- Schedule departmental meetings; assist in the preparation and distribution of meeting agendas and materials.
- Attend meetings and take notes of discussion; prepare the initial draft of minutes and summaries.
- Maintain confidential and sensitive information.
- Maintain paper and electronic filing systems and Director's contacts and guest list.
- Filing and retrieving corporate records, documents, and reports.
- Other additional and/or alternative duties as assigned from time to time, including supporting other departments or Executives as needed.
Requirements and Skills
- Work experience as a Personal Assistant or similar role.
- Candidate should have experience in Fashion Industry or Degree in Fashion (preferably from NIFT, Pearl Academy, NID, FIT-NYC, LCF/CSM-London)
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Excellent MS Office knowledge.
- Discretion and confidentiality.
