ABOUT US: Wavemaker Impact is the first VC backed climate-tech venture builder in SouthEast Asia. Our goal is to reduce 10% of global carbon emissions. We work with experienced entrepreneurs to co-found climate tech businesses in SouthEast Asia. We have identified over 50 opportunity spaces for '100 x 100' companies - companies with the potential to achieve $100m in annual revenue and abate 100 MT of carbon at scale. HOW IT WORKS: Work full time with the Wavemaker Impact team over a 3-6 month period to identify and test opportunities that have the potential to be 100 x 100 companies. We launch together - from ideation, market research, product design and prototyping, first PoC, first customers, company-in-a-box. We invest in founders from day 1- providing you with your own dedicated venture building team to support you throughout the process. Seed funding ready. At the end of the 3-6 month period, you'll pitch to the investment committee for a US$500k staged investment. This is your company. 70% of equity is for founders. You'll lead the growth of the startup post investment and once seed capital has been invested. WHY WORK WITH US? WHO SHOULD APPLY? Experienced founders and experienced operators who have proven experience of going from 0-1 across South East Asia, with experience building and scaling world class teams. Previous startup experience, including raising capital. Successfully exited founders looking for their next opportunity.
