Job description
Summary: Provides Support to the Marketing Department by implementing administrative systems,
procedures, and policies and monitoring administrative projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assists with Marketing department workflow
a. Responds to requests for information and distributes sales videos, brochures, and other
promotional materials
b. Assists with trade shows, direct mail campaigns, and performs some creative writing
c. Maintains the supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating
needed supplies; placing and expediting order for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
d. Maintains marketing files, coordinating meetings, preparing correspondence, memos, direct
mailings, switchboard coverage as needed, and various other departmental projects.
2. Utilizes Sugar CRM to manage customer relationships
a. Maintains Mailing List, Inventory, Competitor, and related databases
b. Provides monthly and annual sales, won/loss, inquiry activity, and quote sent activity reports
3. Conducts market research to identifies marketing opportunities
a. Monitors brand status and competitive landscape for Concrete Products equipment
b. Helps to define niche focal points, and tailor marketing materials to actively pursue these markets
4. Supports domestic and international sales channels
a. Provides sales support by implementing new or updated marketing materials to meet specific
customer or industry needs
b. Maintains marketing material quality by proofreading the content of all print advertisements,
brochures, videos, press releases
c. Facilitates the distribution of promotional materials to the sales team
5. Supports internal and external customer service
a. Follows up on marketing leads, filters queries appropriately, maintains customer relations, and
completes follow up surveys
b. Understands and documents internal and external customer needs and expectations and
communicates to appropriate team(s) when an expectation will not be met
6. Contributes to the continuous improvement effort
a. Documents processes and procedures, eliminates non-value added activities, and participates in
cross functional CI teams
7. Maintains professional and technical knowledge
a. Establishes personal networks, participates in professional societies, attends professional
workshops and reviews publications
8. Contributes to team effort
a. Willing to attempt new assignments or fill in for others as needed; accomplishes other duties as
assigned
9. Participates in applicable SOP and SWI training

Qualifications (cont.):
Education and/or Experience:
? High School Diploma or GED required
? Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration preferred
? Experience in advertising, publication design, website design and trade show
implementation preferred
? (Entry Level) < 12 months or work experience is acceptable
