Job Description:
The Manager of India Public Affairs (PA) will be responsible for the PA agenda of India including external stakeholder management, compliances, issues, crises, and CSR for all three factory sites in India. The person will also support the central advocacy strategy and execution, trade body engagement, and consumer care issues. Working closely with colleagues across India, regional and global Public Affairs (PA) teams and with cross-functional partners, the Manager ensures that external trends are embedded in business strategy and delivers tools, resources, and expertise to advance a consistent PA agenda, advocacy approach on business-critical issues, and manage cross-cutting initiatives in support of the full India PA strategic agenda. This role reports to the Director of Corporate Affairs and manages external consultancy resources.
What are we looking for:
Demonstrated understanding of public policymaking processes, stakeholder management, and ability to translate technical and complex business needs into advocacy objectives, strategies, and messaging with 8+ years of experience
Prior Experience in Manufacturing and FMCG would be preferred.
Strong communicator, able to concisely articulate complex issues across India, regional and global audiences.
Excellent skills in influencing and driving dialogue to reach consensus both internally and externally.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish strong working relationships with colleagues.
