Are you passionate about Linux systems and eager to kickstart your career in web hosting FlexiCloud, a leading web hosting company, is on the lookout for enthusiastic and talented individuals to join our team as Linux System Admin.
Responsibilities:
- Server Administration: Manage and maintain Linux server infrastructure, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
- DNS and SSL Management: Maintain and administer domain configurations, ensuring proper DNS resolution. Handle the issuance, renewal, and installation of SSL certificates for secure server communications.
- Server Troubleshooting and Health Monitoring: Proactively identify and troubleshoot server downtimes, performance issues, and other related problems.
- LEMP Stack Expertise: Configure, deploy, and maintain Linux servers running the LEMP stack (Linux, Nginx, MySQL/MariaDB, PHP).
- Security: Implement and maintain server security measures, including firewall configurations, intrusion detection, and vulnerability assessments.
- Backup and Recovery: Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies for server data.
- Customer Support: Provide technical support to customers, helping them resolve server-related issues, and addressing their queries in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
- Experience with working on Linux systems (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS).
- Great at solving problems and figuring out what's wrong.
- Can write and use scripts to make tasks automatic, like using Bash or Python.
- Knows how to control and manage servers using command line tools (e.g., using SSH to connect to servers).
- Knows how to keep servers safe, like setting who can access them, using firewalls, and protecting data (using tools like firewalls, managing SSL/TLS certificates, and encryption).
- Certification in respective such as Linux, AWS will be an added advantage.
