Job Purpose - Manage all aspects of purchasing to efficiently and cost-effectively support
organizational operations.
Roles And Responsibilities - Doing research and going through competitors' markets
- Developing and implementing purchasing strategies.
- Inviting quotations for purchases and negotiating the best deal for the company
- Search for alternate suppliers for better quality, service, price, and delivery
- Co-ordinate with the costing department for costing targets and negotiate with suppliers
to meet the costing targets.
- Co-ordinating with the sales department for sourcing new products and understanding
market demand.
- Maintaining & analyzing sales data whenever required.
- Placing purchase orders and ensuring timely materials delivery at the site.
- Resolve vendor or contractor grievances, and claims against suppliers.
- Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
- Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Working to improve purchasing systems and processes.
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
- Enabling reports and structure in a way that helps the Top management in
decision-making.
Job Knowledge, Skills, And Experience Education Master's Degree
Experience Min 4-5 Years Required In Similar Profile Skills Good communication skills
