Job title Purchase Manager

Reports to Director

Job Purpose

  • Manage all aspects of purchasing to efficiently and cost-effectively support

organizational operations.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Doing research and going through competitors' markets
  • Developing and implementing purchasing strategies.
  • Inviting quotations for purchases and negotiating the best deal for the company
  • Search for alternate suppliers for better quality, service, price, and delivery
  • Co-ordinate with the costing department for costing targets and negotiate with suppliers

to meet the costing targets.

  • Co-ordinating with the sales department for sourcing new products and understanding

market demand.

  • Maintaining & analyzing sales data whenever required.
  • Placing purchase orders and ensuring timely materials delivery at the site.
  • Resolve vendor or contractor grievances, and claims against suppliers.
  • Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
  • Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
  • Working to improve purchasing systems and processes.
  • Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
  • Enabling reports and structure in a way that helps the Top management in

decision-making.

Job Knowledge, Skills, And Experience

Education Master's Degree

Experience Min 4-5 Years Required In Similar Profile

pay range- 25k to 50k
