Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cluster Safety Manager to ensure the safety and well-being of our employees, customers, and facilities. As a Cluster Safety Manager, you will be responsible for implementing safety policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, providing safety training, and performing safety audits. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
- Proven experience as a safety manager or similar role with 4 to 6 years of experience
- Knowledge of hazard identification and risk assessment techniques
- Familiarity with safety training programs and practices
- Experience in conducting safety audits and inspections
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team
- Proficiency in relevant safety software and tools
- Certifications such as OSHA or NEBOSH are mandatory
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures for all sites within the cluster
- Conduct regular risk assessments and identify potential hazards
- Provide safety training to employees on various safety procedures and practices
- Perform safety audits to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Investigate accidents or incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Monitor and maintain safety records and reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainability initiatives
- Stay updated with relevant safety laws, regulations, and best practices
- Conduct internal safety inspections and monitor adherence to safety protocols
- Provide guidance and support to store managers and employees in matters related to safety
