Responsibilities
- Produce well-written code using the best software development practices.
- Create user-friendly website layout by using HTML and CSS.
- Regular check and revamp the website wherever required.
- Be creative and original during website creation.
- Deliver secure, scalable, and easy to maintain WordPress solutions using engineering best practices and relevant coding standards.
- Write test cases for all the code you develop.
- Write and maintain technical project documentation including inline code commenting, Git repo readme, and clear commit messages.
- Respect timelines and communicate progress proactively.
- Help other engineers on the team through architectural reviews, code reviews, and other peer reviews.
- Work in collaboration with the website designers to deliver on their plans efficiently.
- Integrate various back-end and services and database.
- Check Website code to deliver high Google Page Speed Insight Score & GTMetrix Score.
- Ensure the proper functioning of the site and be available for any emergency troubleshooting.
- Regularly backup data.
- Stay up to date with growing best practices, technological advancements, and industrial advancements.
- Uphold company policies and quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fields.
- Prior experience in web programming or relevant fields. (More than 2 Years preferred)
- In-depth WordPress engineering experience with high-quality outcomes.
- In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, ASP.NET so on.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Comfortable with git-based development and deployment workflow.
- Good knowledge of web application development, Search Engine Optimization, network diagnostics, and analytics tools.
- Strong multitasking and organization skills.
- High threshold for working in a fast-paced environment.
- Keep up to date with the changing practices of web technology and software.
