What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Treasury Operations: Oversee India’s treasury operations, including bank administration, payment processing, and cash position reconciliation
- Bank Administration: Handling various administrative tasks related to banking, including account management, document processing, and coordination with financial institutions.
- Payment Processing: Assist in processing trade and payroll payments, including verifying payment support, approvals and reconciliations
- Cash Flow Management: Managing and forecasting the XPO India’s organization's cash flow to ensure there is enough liquidity for operational needs.
- EDPMS filing and maintenance: Managing Electronic Data Processing and Management System filings and ensuring their accurate and timely maintenance & reconciliation.
- Treasury Systems and Technology: Utilizing banking systems and financial software to automate processes and enhance efficiency for XPO India needs
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining records and preparing financial reports related to treasury activities. Performing financial modeling, provide analytical support and create ad-hoc/periodic reports
- Claim Reporting and Funding: Collecting and reporting Canadian workers’ compensation exposures for payment and managing payments of legacy claims to respective TPAs
- Bond Tracking and Payment: Review bond invoices for accuracy and render appropriate payments
- Coordinate with US Treasury team to apply best corporate practices in XPO India
What you need to suceed at XPO:
Experience
- 2 to 5 years related experience. Experience with MNC preferred.
- 1 year of related industry experience in corporate finance, accounting, or banking
- Experience with Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs such as MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Education: Graduate / Bachelors in accounting or finance or commerce
It’d be great if you also have:
- Knowledge of treasury banking and management systems, cash management, and treasury operations
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, multi-task and use time effectively with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to interact across all functions and levels within the company
- Work independently under general supervision, use initiative and good business judgement
- Experience in maintaining and managing positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
