Position Summary...

Job Description About Team: Retail and Emerging Tech: This is the team which builds reusable technologies that aid in acquiring customers, onboarding and empowering merchants besides ensuring a seamless experience for both these stakeholders. They also optimize tariffs and assortment, adhering to the Walmart philosophy - Everyday Low Cost. In addition to ushering in affordability, they also create personalized experiences for customers the omnichannel way, across all channels - in-store, on the mobile app and websites.
Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the Walmart iOS app that millions of users rely on for their customer journey. We work with the latest technologies and frameworks to create high-quality iOS applications that adhere to Apple's standards and guidelines. We collaborate with other teams across the company to deliver features and enhancements that improve the user experience and satisfaction.
What you'll do: - Research, guide, and execute iOS architecture changes, including but by no means limited to REST / GraphQ.
- Broad knowledge of Objective C, Swift 5, XCTest, XCUITest, design patterns and programming best practices.
- Build reusable components with modular views, manage data on the client and test everything.
- Measure and resolve performance bottlenecks. Refactor or improve existing code.
- Work closely with our product, design, and UX teams to create amazing and intuitive experiences that make it effortless to connect different apps together.
- Help put tools, processes, and documentation in place to improve our code quality.
- Ship to hundreds of thousands of users every day while having lots of autonomy in terms of code and feature ownership.
- Work with complex and varied data structures.
- Adhere to coding best practices, responsible for quality of code, documentation, testing, monitoring and delivery of features.
- Able to communicate with stake holders and drive features development with minimal guidance from Leads and Managers.

- 6-10 years of strong design/development experience overall, with 5+ years of mobile development experience
- Proven ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks quickly.
- Mobile-first design and responsive code deeply ingrained in your thought process.
- Expertise in iPhone development, including implementing applications with standard iPhone/ iPad UI components, creating custom UI.
- Expert in Objective C programming & Swift 5 and above, iPhone SDK, SQLite Database, iPad, X Code, XML-JSON Parsing, Location services, Social networking integration like Facebook ,twitter
- Good knowledge of Core Foundation, Core Data, SQLite
- Should have good knowledge of Objective-C, Cocoa Touch, iPhone/iPad Apple SDK.
- Familiarity working with GraphQL and REST APIs for deep integrations with both platforms i.e. general best practices, shortcomings, trade-offs, etc.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
- Understanding of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines
- Expertise in Hybrid App development, React native app development is a plus
- Experience with other development frameworks (Ionic, Angular, Vue, Native Android, Native iOS) would be a plus.
- Excellent organization, communication, interpersonal skills.

Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, information technology, or related area. and 1 Year of relevant experience in configuration management, developing automation for Provisioning and Orchestration, experience developing and managing service-level objectives (SLOs)/service level indicators (SLIs) for Infrastructure Service availability and performance.
