Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Tour Consultant for a leading Travel and Tour Company in Cochin. As a Tour Consultant, you will be responsible for creating and organizing travel itineraries, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout their travel experience. This is a full-time position based in Cochin, Kerala, India.

Qualifications And Skills

  • 1-3 years of experience as a Tour Consultant or in a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of travel destinations, attractions, and accommodations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Customer-focused mentality and commitment to providing exceptional service.
  • Proficient in using travel booking software and online reservation systems.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Fluency in English and knowledge of other languages is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as required.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Create customized travel itineraries based on clients' preferences, budget, and travel requirements.
  • Research and recommend travel destinations, attractions, and accommodations to clients.
  • Coordinate and book flights, hotels, tours, transportation, and other travel services for clients.
  • Manage all travel documentation, including passports, visas, and travel insurance.
  • Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to clients' inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel trends, destination information, and industry regulations.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by actively seeking feedback and implementing improvements to enhance the travel experience.
  • Collaborate with travel suppliers and partners to negotiate competitive rates and secure exclusive deals for clients.
  • Assist clients with any travel-related emergencies or changes to their itineraries.
  • Keep accurate records of clients' travel preferences, special requests, and past travel history.
