Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Tour Consultant for a leading Travel and Tour Company in Cochin. As a Tour Consultant, you will be responsible for creating and organizing travel itineraries, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout their travel experience. This is a full-time position based in Cochin, Kerala, India.
Qualifications And Skills - 1-3 years of experience as a Tour Consultant or in a related role.
- Strong knowledge of travel destinations, attractions, and accommodations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Customer-focused mentality and commitment to providing exceptional service.
- Proficient in using travel booking software and online reservation systems.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Fluency in English and knowledge of other languages is a plus.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as required.
Roles And Responsibilities - Create customized travel itineraries based on clients' preferences, budget, and travel requirements.
- Research and recommend travel destinations, attractions, and accommodations to clients.
- Coordinate and book flights, hotels, tours, transportation, and other travel services for clients.
- Manage all travel documentation, including passports, visas, and travel insurance.
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to clients' inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel trends, destination information, and industry regulations.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by actively seeking feedback and implementing improvements to enhance the travel experience.
- Collaborate with travel suppliers and partners to negotiate competitive rates and secure exclusive deals for clients.
- Assist clients with any travel-related emergencies or changes to their itineraries.
- Keep accurate records of clients' travel preferences, special requests, and past travel history.
