Job description

Hiring Email & Marketing Automation Execution Specialist for one of the Global Fortune 500 Company!

Years of Experience - 3 to 6 years

Locatio

Role type - Contract to hire (6 months contract)

Hybrid - 2 day WFO and 3 days WFH

Role and responsibilities:

• Performs day-to-day email marketing activities including, but not limited to, email campaign set-up, scheduling, testing (i.e A/B testing) , tagging and deployment of one-

time and dynamic content-driven campaigns.

• Manages the creation and execution of promotional, lifecycle, and transactional email marketing programs to our customers.

• Troubleshooting technical issues related to HTML templates, list segmentation, and other aspects of email execution as required.

• Works with Portfolio marketing to develop supplier related internal email communications. Goal is to have all communications transitioned to Seismic

• Collaborates across team and functions (Data Science, Channel/Content Enablement, and portfolio marketing) to support brand and sales goals.

• Ensures accuracy, quality, and brand consistency in communications.

• Offers thoughtful advice and recommendations to our team regarding email tactics and opportunities for contact and email optimization.

• Provides email execution and management of related activities, can include but not limited to: maintaining email marketing promotional calendar and send schedule,

scheduling emails, and managing target customer lists.

• Adhere to email list hygiene rules to ensure optimal deliverability and avoid black listing of our email database.

• Understands email technology and all of our different data sources we have access to and how to best use data and technology to deliver incremental growth.

• Responsible for the accuracy of our email dashboards for all levels of management views (executive, operational, summary), deliver both metrics and insights to help our

marketers understand what is working, how to improve what is not working, share learnings and best practices with global and regional teams.

Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or related major required.

• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience setting up, executing, and measuring Batch email campaigns (such as creating flow charts) using Unica Campaign required.

• 4-5 years experience with a major ESP (Email Service Provider) such as Responsys, Exact Target, Cheetahmail, or IBM Silverpop / Acoustic. Experience with Eloqua

required

• Experience with Seismic a preferred

• Proficiency working with structured databases and fluency in SQL required.

• 4-5 years email content marketing experience

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze large and complex sets of data from multiple sources (transactional, web analytics, and lead generation). Use data and

dashboards to inform our team with keen insights on improving email and contact health KPIs.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams including goal setting, managing team activities, and managing performance.

• Knowledge of HTML with hands-on experience with HTML editing tools such as Atom, Sublime, or Dreamweaver.

• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Must have hands-on experience with basic functions like VLOOKUP, TRIM, and Pivot Tables.
