Job Title: Technical Lead
Location: Ahmedabad, India
Position Summary: Litera is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help grow our development team. You will participate in the full SDLC from preliminary system analysis to testing and deployment. This hybrid-engineering role includes building high quality and fully performing software that meets quality and software development standards alongside a great team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop software applications
- Lead the design and development for a product
- Provide expert level knowledge and guidance on modern software engineering techniques and methodologies for code reviews
- Demonstrate expertise in a variety of software concepts (object-oriented design), practices (design patterns), and procedures (troubleshooting defects)
- Work with Product Management to prioritize tasks and ensure deadlines are met within the Scrum team
- Coach and mentor less experienced team members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years' experience implementing full-stack solutions to real business problems
- 4+ years' experience developing frontend applications, using latest JavaScript frameworks
- 2+ years' React experience
- 2+ years' experience in technical leadership role
- Strong understanding of JavaScript/ES6 using modern design patterns/principles to design and build Frontend UI is required
- Must have experience building frontend applications that integrate with RESTful APIs
- Experience with Unit testing using jest, react-testing-library, Enzyme libraries or other similar frameworks
- Good understanding of HTML5 & CSS3 is required
- Ability to work independently without instructions on most tasks. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Expert understanding of software development principles (object-oriented design, SOLID, etc.)
- Experience taking a project through its entire life cycle
- Comfortable working in an agile environment and have a working experience with Agile/Scrum
- Enthusiastic about problem solving, digging into issues, and owning tasks to completion
- Strong team player who is open to give and receive feedback
- A passion for technology and thrives in a dynamic environment with a focus on creative innovation over absolute completion
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Any experience with .NET / C# is a bonus
- DevOps experience is a plus
