Job description
As the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in assisting the restaurant manager in overseeing the daily operations of our esteemed restaurant, ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Restaurant Manager in managing and supervising restaurant operations, including dining room management, service standards, and overall guest satisfaction.
Support the Restaurant Manager in training, supervising, and motivating the restaurant staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders, to deliver exceptional service and uphold Taj Group's standards.
Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth coordination between the kitchen and dining room, maintaining excellent communication and timely delivery of food and beverages.
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and ambience of the restaurant, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations and Taj Group's quality standards.
Assist in developing and implementing standard operating procedures and service guidelines to ensure consistent and exceptional guest experiences.
Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a prompt and professional manner, striving to achieve guest satisfaction and loyalty.
Support the implementation of marketing and promotional activities, working closely with the marketing team to attract and retain guests.
Assist in managing the reservation system, seating arrangements, and table turnovers, optimizing table utilization and maximizing revenue opportunities.
Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to develop and manage the restaurant budget, monitoring expenses, and implementing cost-control measures while maintaining service excellence.
Uphold high standards of professionalism, ethics, and integrity, representing The Taj Mahal Palace Mumbai with the utmost professionalism and demonstrating a commitment to Taj Group's core values.
