What You'll Do - Extends that of the Level 2 Analyst responsibilities
- Acts as writing support for the Field Sales and direct writer for Deal Desk
- Project manages deals from review to kick-off call, including deal structure,
- Maintains and enforces agreed-upon departmental review and approval of SLAs
- Assists in reviewing contractual language and escalating to ensure deals align with policies.
- Oversees the Sales Support Slack channel to aid and offer advice on deal questions and other ad hoc requests.
- Oversees the Sales Support Case queue, consistently maintaining case SLAs and handling complex and non-standard requests.
- Partners with Sales Operations and Sales Systems teams to facilitate process and system improvements.
- Contributor and editor by request for content in Responsive (formerly RFPIO)
- Responsible for training and onboarding new Deal Desk Hires
- Personal Growth / Projects
- Focus on proposal process improvement and functional elements of project management.
What You Have - Demonstrated familiarity with the Enterprise SaaS/B2B Industry - Deal Desk, ticketing management workflow software Jira, preferred.
- Previous experience as an RFP Proposal Writer - 3 to 5 years minimum.
- Strong English writing, editing, and speaking skills.
- Prefer AP Style writing guidelines experience.
- Effectively manage various RFP/RFI formats and document types, often simultaneously.
- Skills to evaluate components required for RFP response, identify resources and gaps, and develop a timeline plan to meet the submission deadline
- Demonstrated ability to partner with internal teams and other cross-functional departments to help gather information to support proposal response
- Experience in Enterprise Sales models
- Highly organized, with solid project management skills
- Excellent writer and communicator, self-aware, transparent, professional, and open to feedback
- Ability to multitask and prioritize at times of high volume, schedule flexibility during End of Month, End or Quarter/Year
- Ability to prioritize and effectively manage workflow distractions
- Strong skills in gSuite, Slack, Salesforce.com, Jira
- Basic knowledge and understanding of a content management tool, Responsive (formerly RFPIO) preferred.
