Global Technology organization Key Skills: Model Based Development, Matlab Simulink, Simulink, Embedded C Roles and Responsibilities: Participate in the conversion of system requirements into model-based designs using MATLAB/Simulink and subsequently develop, implement, and test the software. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, systems, hardware, and manufacturing teams, to understand their requirements. Design and implement software for embedded devices and systems, ensuring alignment with production and commercial deployment requirements. Develop control algorithms and strategies using Matlab/Simulink. Generate Autocode from Matlab/Simulink models. Create requirement specification documentation and ensure compliance with Automotive SPICE-compliant development processes. Analyze and resolve customer-reported issues. Contribute to the design, development, integration, and testing of software systems for various products. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills within cross-functional teams, proactively communicate, and resolve conflicts. Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences. Skills Required: Minimum 3+ years of experience in model-based software development and autocoding using Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow/eCoder. Proficiency in verification and validation of control software using Model-in-Loop (MIL) and Software-in-Loop (SIL) techniques. Strong understanding of microcontroller hardware and associated schematics. Experience designing complex fault-tolerant safety systems in compliance with industry standards such as ISO26262 and ASPICE. Expertise in C coding, MAAB guidelines, debugging tools, and CAN communication protocols. Experience in MIL/SIL testing and knowledge of Automotive SPICE. Familiarity with requirements management tools such as Polarion/Doors. Proficiency in serial communication protocols like CAN/CANFD and LIN. Experience with cross compilers, debuggers like Lauterbach, and SW build environments setup. Knowledge of configuration and change management tools such as Plastic SCM, JIRA, design tools like MATLAB/EA, and unit testing tools like CANTATA/VectorCAST/RTRT. Experience in systems and vehicle validation is advantageous. Strong leadership qualities, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities. Highly self-motivated, energetic, and capable of learning new technologies. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Communication, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.Job tags
