Café Coffee Day is India's largest café chain in terms of the number of café outlets with more than 460 cafes across the country. CCD, as it is popularly called, opened its first café in Bengaluru in 1996 and has pioneered the coffee culture in the chained café segment in India by bringing in a range of delectable food and beverage products served in a contemporary, youthful ambience, and offering a variety of novel experiences - all with a promise of 'A lot can happen over coffee!'. CCD operates through Coffee Day Global Limited (CDGL), a subsidiary of Coffee Day Enterprises Limited. CDGL is arguably India's largest coffee retail conglomerate with leadership position also in the automated beverage dispensing solutions under the brand name Coffee Day Beverages with distribution across more than 1330+ towns and cities across India. CDGL also operates a network of 280+ refreshment kiosks offering affordable food and beverages for on-the-go customers under the Coffee Day Xpress brand name.
Role & Responsibilities:
1) Supply Chain & finance:
- Updating indent on website and raising a supply order considering the limit of weight in covid (18kgs). 6 warehouses across Bangalore and Delhi available now which will become in future
- Create Shipment online and send to accounts for billing and warehouse for packing.
- Book pick up slot and co-ordinate for all paperwork compliance
- Ensure compliance as per Partner standards for which sometime visit warehouse and co-ordinate with team
- Be SPoC for dispatches and enable timely listing at partner locations
- Although payment is periodic but needs to be a SPOC for finance reconciliations and some issue between teams
2) New Product listing, price updation, sKU updation, new vendor listing in system and associated activities:
- Involves interaction with Partner teams and internal teams of marketing, finance and purchase
3) Revenue & Projection:
- Assisting in data analysis regarding sales, competition analysis
- Ability to learn and take up marketing analysis across all e-com business since the data needs to be sliced and diced and viewed form different lenses
4) Digital Commerce / Competitor Analysis:
- the candidate should be comfortable with digital environment.
- Should understand the fundamentals of Digital Marketing , SEO , SEM with D2C etc.
- Should be able to do competitive analysis and move take up NPD from SCM
- Basic Understanding of FMCG market and ecommerce setup would be good. Acumen has to be to be able to process large amount of data and make sense with it.
Criteria:
- MBA in Marketing or similar qualification
- Minimum 8 years of experience in FMCG/ Hospitality Industry
- Expertise working in different and prominent market places is desired
- Ability to engage with multiple stakeholders like finance & SCM as a POC
- Ability to handle escalations that come out of seller partners involving material receipt, return and payments, etc.
- Ability in adapt to rapidly changing business circumstances
