JOB PURPOSE :

Reporting to the Head of Technical operations, you will help to build the Alstom Transport strategy, the TechOps organization of compute & cloud services including public cloud services, the integration of business & commercial solutions in Alstom Infrastructure landscape.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities :

Your scope worldwide comprises deliveryCloud & Compute services to Alstom Transport business through its service providers hosted out of 3 Global Datacenters, 5 public cloud services regions (Azure & Oracle ) and more than 100 Local data rooms across the world.

• The ideal candidate should enjoy a balance of strategic thinking and 'rolling up the sleeves' to drive tactical issues
• A 'go-getter' approach to take on a range of issues will be critical
• You will apply your project management and leadership expertise to ensure tomeets the scope, quality, time, and budget targets
• You will be accountable for execution, monitoring, risk management, and achievement of the targets set for technicalservices,
• You will manage relationships efficiently and communicate with key stakeholders to ensure that production support is not only aligned with the customer requirements, but also adds value to their business
• You will be able to display your in-depth technical and hands-on experience in Infrastructure services,serving as a professional authority, and collaborating with team during technical crisis.
• You will be able to demonstrate innovative with process and product engineering, while adhering to Alstom principleand deliverables, setting up foundation practices and standard operation procedures
• You will prioritize activities to understand and implement reuse of best practices and follow up on them

• Contributing to the cloud transformation of the company
• Building technological components and services to continuously optimizethe infrastructure landscape
• Contributing & leading innovation topics in alignment with Organizational objectives
• Contributing and working on Problem management , Capacity related topics in the infrastructure space
• Contribute to FinOps activities actively for On-Premise and Cloud workloads
• Contribute to DevOps and Automation initiatives
• contribute in finding solutions for complex technical topics across Infrasturcture space .. OS, DB , Middleware etc.

PROFILE:

• To be considered for this role, candidate need to demonstrate the following skills experience and attributes:

• Graduated with an engineering degree, preferably in information technology, you have around 8+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure servers , especially on hosting and cloud services. You have very good technical skills on different topics.
• Cloud Certified (preferably in Azure) with hands on experience in managing Cloud & On-Premise Infrastructure
• You are experienced in working in a multi cultural environment
• Working with an outsourcing partner
• A keen knowledge of hosting technologies preferably with hands on experience in minimum three areas with mandatory hands on experience in DevOps , Cloud and Automation.:
  • Datacenter and cloud urbanization
  • Hyperconverged solutions
  • Virtualization
  • OS: Linux, Windows, AIX, Solaris
  • Databases: Oracle , MSSQL, MYSQL, POSTGRE
  • Virtual Applications and Desktop: Citrix
  • DevOps and Automation
  • Storage & Backup technologies
• A keen knowledge and experience of public cloud providers is demanded (especially Microsoft Azure)
• A good understanding of all Devops methodology and tooling
• Good communication, efficiency and ability to execute. You are result oriented and show intellectual curiosity and creativity.
• Fluent in English, you are eager to work with autonomy in an international environment and to face the challenges of the new Alstom
