The Team Deloitte Risk Advisory helps entities mitigate risk while discovering new opportunities to create value. Our end-to-end risk services span all domains, from managing strategic risks in the C-Suite to improving board oversight, and from balancing financial and environmental policies to addressing cyber threats.

Work you’ll do In our team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities: Business Be part of Product Control team covering various product categories and regions. (Asset classes: FX/FXO, Rates, Fixed Income, Credit, Commodities, Treasury etc.) Ensure appropriate controls and reviews are maintained for Daily P&L production, Core reconciliations, Month end close and BSS. Ensure the teams are performing timely lockdown of daily and monthly P&L. Review monthly/quarterly balance sheet, with substantiation and potential financial exposure. Handle upstream system transformation change implementations such as ASPIRE ICON, GPTM (Broadridge) for Fixed income and FMRP (Blade) for Derivatives, etc. Review various reconciliation reports, management packs and ad-hoc reports. Review of month end Journals for accrual, provision and true up. Take responsibility for the quality of work submitted and ensure that the highest standards are maintained. Ensure adherence to SLA's, KPI's Internal metrics & FMG wide policies. Identify/ manage risk and control breakdowns. Develop & maintain effective and standard processes. Maintain KOP's/DI's.

Controls Develop and maintain appropriate policies and procedures which ensure the accounting, management and financial reporting integrity of the trading desks’ balance sheet and P&L. Responsible for designing, building and maintaining a robust control environment in respect of daily P&L reporting, P&L attribution and balance sheet substantiation Research market best practices and keep abreast of the evolving issues that affect the valuation of the FM business. Supporting the introduction of new products within businesses and related pre and post execution governance.

Balance Sheet Reconciliation and Substantiation Develop and execute appropriate procedures for Balance Sheet Reconciliation and Substantiation. Balance Sheet Substantiation includes multiple processes including reconciliation (at a transactional or at a balance level) of the account, a process of review of the reconciliation and any pertinent supporting documentation and a formal certification (sign-off) of the account in a predetermined form driven by corporate policy.

People and Talent To lead, inspire and motivate the respective business’s product and valuation control teams ensuring that everyone achieves their potential and that the team delivers its collective agenda Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from the team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners across the organization.

Qualifications ·

MBA or equivalent Master's degree · Knowledge of risk management and regulatory areas would be preferred eg. Basel, Stress Testing, Capital Management, ICAAP, Risk Based Supervision, Risk Modelling, Analytics · Professional certifications like CFA and FRM would be highly desirable · Knowledge of programming on SAS, R, Python would be desirable
