A BIT ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking to put forth a go-to-market payments strategy to complement our payroll offering. The Treasurer will be a key role and be responsible for helping us build out a world-class payment service offer, build a team, and create a go-to-market strategy for payments globally in a compliant fashion. The Treasurer will report to the Senior Vice President of Operations/CFO.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the organization's finances and investments
- Support the strategic launch of a go-to-market strategy for global payments together with payroll
- Create and develop a team to support global payments complimenting the employer of record and global payroll offers
- Developing and implementing financial strategies and policies as it relates to money movement globally
- Creating and maintaining accurate financial records and reports across multiple bank accounts
- Monitor and manage the organization's budget, ensuring that expenditures are within budgetary limits
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payment and collection of payroll funding
- Clearly defining SLAs and metrics as it relates to paying members in countries where jurisdictionally compliant
- On-time funding receipt

- Accurate payments to third-party vendors
- Overseeing the budgeting process and ensuring compliance with financial regulations
- Managing the cash flow of the organization globally
- Liaising with auditors, banks, and other financial institutions
- Creating and maintaining positive partnerships with financial institutions
- Providing financial advice and guidance to the board of directors and senior management
- Implement company policies regarding documentation and accounting of receipts and other financial information
- Conducting financial analysis and reporting on financial performance
- Determining a foreign exchange revenue stream
- Creating a policy
- Identifying partners
- Ensuring profitability
- Incorporating contractual language
- Ensuring compliance with the policy
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or CMA
- Proven experience in financial management and accounting, preferably in a nonprofit organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in financial software and tools such as QuickBooks, Excel, SWIFT Banking, International Money Movement, and others
