Job description
As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating and editing engaging videos that captivate our target audience. This is a full-time position based in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India, with an opportunity for growth and development.
Qualifications and Skills
- Fresher: Less than 1 year of experience in video editing
- Proficient in video editing software, such as Final Cut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
- Solid understanding of video editing principles, techniques, and best practices
- Ability to tell compelling stories through video
- Knowledge of current trends in video editing, including trendy sounds, transitions, and effects
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Experience in digital marketing and social media platforms is a plus
Roles and Responsibilities
- Create and edit high-quality videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, and promotional materials
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop video concepts that align with the company's marketing strategies and target audience
- Trim and rearrange footage to ensure smooth transitions and seamless storytelling
- Add special effects, graphics, and animations to enhance the visual appeal of videos
- Select and incorporate appropriate music, sound effects, and voiceovers into videos
- Ensure all videos adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual style
- Utilize video editing software, such as Final Cut, to produce professional-quality videos
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in video editing and digital marketing
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Work closely with the creative team to brainstorm and execute video ideas
