Technical Background Possess basic understanding of manufacturing plant processes and control systems. Experience with PLC/HMI/SCADA/DCS systems and control system architecture is a plus. Ignition

Core and Gold Certification is a plus. Proven experience in designing and building Manufacturing HMI, MES and SCADA solutions with

Ignition

Platform. Experienced with

Ignition

Vision, Perspective, and other supporting modules. Experience with data collection, database solutions and data ETL. Experience integrating

Ignition

with existing MES Systems and SAP is a plus. Strong problem solving and analytic skills. Good written and oral communication abilities.

Responsibilities Project Work Coordinates development of

Ignition

projects or upgrade activities, as an in-house project or in collaboration with external integrators. Analyze business user requirements. Design, evaluate, build, test, modify, and implement

Ignition

apps to meet business needs. Build new HMI screens, charts, trends using

Ignition

platform, either in a new

Ignition

project or as upgrades to existing in-production

Ignition

apps. Develops and executes test plans to evaluate

Ignition

project work. Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation.

Maintenance and Support work Proactively and reactively troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day issues in

Ignition

apps. Provide technical engineering support for Operations. Recommend changes in development, maintenance, and system standards. Update system and programming documentation as required.

Subject Matter Expert & Trainer Be a global SME in

Ignition

apps. Trains site DCS engineers globally in the conversion, implementation and use of

Ignition

system. Build up their

Ignition

skills to perform simple development and troubleshooting to resolve day-to-day issues.
