Position Summary:-

Acceldata is building the data observability cloud for global enterprises. As a staff engineer, you will own the core Acceldata platform data engine. We're looking for people with a strong background or inclination towards data engineering; you're comfortable in dealing with lots of moving pieces and have a solid understanding of modern Data management systems.

• Designing, coding, and debugging software.
• Investigating software-related complaints and making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal software performance.
• Dive deep into open-source data engines and work on optimizing their performance.
• Design, build and maintain low-latency APIs
• Work closely with our customers and sales teams regularly to carve out new features and use cases
• Work with database systems, RDBMS, Mongo, and Elastic Search.
• Develop services that will be consumed by frontend and solution engineers
• Regularly attending team meetings to discuss projects, brainstorm ideas, and put forward solutions to any issues.

What makes you the right fit for this position

• 9+ years of solid development expertise in one or more generic programming languages is required.
• JVM (Java, Scala, Kotlin) Strong data structure, algorithm design, and problem-solving basics in computer science.
• Hands-on experience with managed cloud technologies.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, expertise shipping enterprise software, SQL competence, and general experience working with data storage and retrieval systems
• Worked extensively on data platform and data orchestration systems.
