Job description
Job Summary Client is looking for a Sr Data Engineer to join a US Based non profit organization. This Engineer will be responsible for developing ETL pipelines to support the Marketing Data team. The data is stored in a variety of different sources and you will primarily leverage Azure Synapse when creating these pipelines however you will also leverage Informatica for data that is stored on prem within Oracle. This indivudual will need to be able to work from 8:00am – 11:00am PST (9:30pm – 12:30am IST) to collaborate with the US Based team. The developer will leverage this time to gain a strong understanding of the business requirements, and create a plan of where to acquire the data and how to perform ETL duties. This team is looking for an individual that is analytical, statistical, organized, and has a problem-solving mindset.
Qualifications 5 years of experience with Data Integration technologies and tools such as: Azure Synapse Analytics Informatica Power Center Microsoft SSIS Oracle ODI Strong understanding of relational database design and Data Warehouse Methodologies as it relates to extraction of business data Experience with SQL, Stored Procedures, and OLAP concepts Pluses: Experience working with sensitive data or the healthcare industry Experience developing reports, analytics, scorecards, and dashboards using various BI technologies such as Power BI, Tableau, COGNOS Experience with OLAP Cubes Preferred Education: Bachelors Degree in Information Technology Informatica Power Center Certification Microsoft SQL Server Certified Azure Synapse Analytics Certification Oracle EBS Certification Power BI CertificationJob tags
