Software Senior Principal Engineer
The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation application enhancements and new products for a changing world. What you'll achieve
As a Software Senior Principal Engineer , you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis the customer's business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.
Ensure stable, highly available, and performant data warehousing services to the Dell TechOps, DevOps, and product development teams
Monitor, triage, and resolve database-related failures and provide internal consulting for other software service teams on database issues
Support platform- and query-based performance tuning
Harden and evolve the data persistence to improve availability and meet security and data governance requirements
Contribute to data warehouse solution design and functional documentation and collaborate with data warehouse and analytics team on new technologies, methodologies, and solutions

Experience 8-12 in administering all functions of an RDBMS: design, configuration, performance, and security.
Experience with MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
Experience in implementing and deploying MSSQL availability groups with WSFC and familiarity with other RDBMS High-Availability options
Experience in software development process CI/CD with Git, and Jenkins.
Experience with streaming data platforms and other NoSQL databases, agile methodologies, virtualization technologies, IT- and lab operations.
Desirable Requirements
MCDBA, MCSA/MSCD, or MCSE Role-based certificate/s (particularly Data and AI Engineer Associate) a strong plus
Familiarity with Agile software development processes and DW/BI/Big-Data solutions
