Introduction Prime Services IT is seeking a dynamic Angular, Java and database Developer with experience delivering innovative solutions in close collaboration with the Business.
Reporting to the technical development manager, the candidate will play a crucial role in the execution of the strategy, identifying opportunities to realize the strategic architecture within the constraints of regulatory milestones. The individual will be required to work closely with colleagues across Operation Technology Services (Trade Processing, Operation Data Store and Data Distribution) to ensure the technical solution leverages common components, standard proven patterns and engineering principles.
This is a great opportunity to help drive forward the strategy of a major expanding area within this global Bank on a strategic program.
What will you be doing - Able to write Automation Tests for Python, Shell Script, SQL and Java
- Follow the definition of automation standards and process improvements.
- Work with Onshore team members and business users to get the business requirements, analyze them and prepare the technical specifications.
- Automate and test the software in desired technologies to Implement the business requirements
- Participate in project go live and post go live support activities.
- Ensure release plans and coordinating release walkthroughs with the environment managers and Application Support teams
- Providing on-call support for releases where necessary
- Ensure requests from the Application support team is promptly responded
- Handle technical issues that are out of scope for the support staff.
What We're Looking For - Expert with 5+yrs of experience in QA Automation in Python, Java, SQL, Shell Script,
- Ability to write Automation test cases and working experience of TDD frameworks such as Junit, Mockito, Groovy etc.
- Exposure to SQL and relation databases with 3+ yrs of experience in this field. Knowledge Microsoft SQL is a plus. Must be able to write complex SQL, Performance optimization of SQL, views, Stored procedures etc.
- Worked in Agile environment, working knowledge of GIT/Stash repository, Dev-ops and CICD tools like Teamcity/Jenkins
- Basic qualification should be BE/BTech

- Experience in using Linux/Unix platform for software deployment
- Experience of agile delivery in a data centric, regulatory environment
- Good analytical and problem solving skills, team player and able to train/mentor junior members of the team.
