  • To work on strategic initiatives in the following functions.
    • Refinery
    • Asset Development
    • EPS & IST
    • Marketing
    • Functional teams
  • To co-ordinate with all the business functions for inputs on strategic initiatives.
  • Contribute towards development of corporate strategy from a Nayara wide perspective.
  • Develop corporate level / project level financial model and undertake scenario analysis
  • To provide timely and accurate inputs to Strategy team for policy related discussions. Prioritise and ensure matters and resolve them efficiently.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

1 Advisory

  • Support Head Strategy and CEO office on various business-related matters.
  • Interact with various business / functional teams to develop and monitor strategy related initiatives and reporting of the same.

2 Corporate strategy development / Refresh

  • Contribute towards development of corporate strategy from a Nayara wide perspective.
  • Independently develop corporate level financial model as well as detailed financial models for large scale capital projects including scenario analysis to support decision making process. The work will involve being thorough with financial concepts and Microsoft Excel and co-ordinating with various stakeholders for required information.
  • Assist in periodical refresh of Corporate Strategy and fine-tuning approach/outlook, support course correction as and when required.
  • Constructively challenging assumptions, scenarios, constraints, etc. proposed by the business/ functional teams.

3 Market Intelligence

  • Undertaking market scan and update Strategy team on a regular basis on developments within O&G Market and New Energy Areas and working on cross-functional projects.
  • Work with Head of Strategy to review proposals, policies, and drafts.

4 Reporting and Analytics

  • Highlight business areas requiring senior management's attention.
  • Prepare timely and accurate reports/ presentations for senior management decision making.
  • Manage key strategic projects and report to the CEO's office

Skills & Knowledge

Educational Qualifications & Certifications: PGDM (Finance) + B.Tech or equivalent

Relevant (Functional/Level) & Total Years of Experience:

  • Minimum 6-10 years of experience in O&G sector including working on analytical roles which also includes financial modelling and analysis.
  • Well versed with undertaking financial appraisal of the projects.
  • Knowledge of Renewable energy and related fields will be added advantage.

Functional Skills:

  • Analytical ability
  • Good at Microsoft Word, excel and Power Point

  • Eye to detail
  • Stakeholder management
