Job Title: Purchase Executive
Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchase Executive to join our Supply Chain Management (SCM) department. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in procurement and purchasing, with a strong understanding of supply chain processes. The Purchase Executive will be responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to support our organization's operations.
Roles And Responsibilities - Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery of goods and services.
- Identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate contracts and pricing terms.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, supplier performance, and industry best practices to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
- Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers regarding quality, delivery, or pricing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product development and sourcing initiatives.
- Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements in procurement and supply chain management.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Purchase Executive or similar role in SCM department.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
- Proficient in using procurement software and tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management are a plus.
