PositionBring an engaged informed voice to technical discussions working closely with the product team to technically refine new features and follow strategies that are aligned to the wider development team's goals. Possessed of technical expertise and willing to take the initiative and collaborate with other functions to find the right approach to solutions.
Collaborators would include: Product Technical Operations Quality. Comfortable and committed to sharing knowledge with colleagues via participation in showcases, documentation and technical talks. Comfortable working in a scrum team, engaging with ceremonies and providing estimates for work.
Technical Experience: Suggested years are a minimum and are a broad guideline that should reflect engaged usage rather than just elapsed time
What you'll do
Responsibilities:Employing best practices in full stack development using Python, React, PostgreSQLand SQLAlchemy.
. Guiding and coaching a squad of Developers ensuring technical excellence in the development of new, and the refinement of current features, to enhance our end to end client proposition.
. Utilise your deep technical expertise and initiative to break impasses as well as define the right approach to solutions, including the presentation of architecture design strategies.
. Collaborate with the QA team to test and optimise features developed, as well as adding to our automated testing suites
. Bring an engaged informed voice to technical discussions as well as working closely with the product team to spec out new features and generate new propose strategies.
. Provide mentorship to junior developers by rigorous code review, observe standard and advocate best practises.
What are we looking for
Making use of AWS services to support integrations with 3rd party solutions.
Working collaboratively using agile methodologies and elements of scrum.
Play an aspirational role for our junior developers to, mentor them ensuring excellent
working practises in support of their growth

Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
