About the Client:
Part of a global consortium focusing on bulk commodities supply chain management and global trading. With 16 offices globally, they inspire to build a global commodity supply chain network to develop a new domestic and international dual-cycle development pattern for the commodity industry.
Candidate Profile :
➢ 7-10 years' experience in commodity trading with a focus on Met Coal and/or Met Coke
➢ Knowledgeable about the steel and metallurgical industry in India.
➢ Knowledgeable in the steel making and metallurgical processes.
➢ Expertise in import and export documentation
➢ Experienced in logistics of dry bulk commodities.
➢ Familiar with statistical data and analysis
➢ Networked within the industry.
➢ Able and willing to travel extensively.
➢ Proficiency in sales of Met Coal and/or Met Coke.
➢ Fluent in mainstream Indian languages, English. Proficiency in spoken Mandarin would
be an advantage.
Qualifications:
➢ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as finance, economics, business, or
engineering. Additional qualifications in trading or finance are a plus.
➢ Previous experience in commodity trading, preferably in metallurgical coke or related
commodities, with a strong understanding of trading principles, market dynamics, and
risk management strategies.
