Job description

Position: Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager, Sales

EXPERIENCE IN SHIPPING LINE IS MUST.

Qualifications: Graduation (Mandatory); Preferred MBA (preferably with some Shipping qualifications)

Experience: 3-5 years sales experience in Shipping line

CTC- upto 8 lacs

Responsibilities and Duties:

1) Dedicated Sales performance against assigned target. Achieve growth and hit sales targets.

2) Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.

3) Liaise with trade for forecasting, business potential & booking forecasts.

4) Keeping a check on competitor's activities/status for prevailing rates and new products.

5) Focus on OOG (over dimensional cargo) which increases the revenue & maximum space utilization per ship

6) Attending OOG/Dry Container enquiries PAN India for all services, identifying prevailing market rates, filing SRR and accordingly negotiating with trade as well as with customer to conclude the business.

7) Taking necessary approvals from POL/POD for terminal handling, VO approval, passing on an accurate info to customers in case of specific condition or additional cost at POL/POD.

8) Sending planned OOG details (dimenions/survey report/stuffing photographs) to Operation Team well in advance for Terminal OOG permission and acordingly share it with customers, keeping close follow up with customer/operation team untill container gate in and smooth loading.

9) Maintain OOG data base PAN India and send monthly OOG (loaded) service wise report.

10) Keep a track on OOG/Dry Container inventories. By forecasting demand and supply of special equipments accordingly co-ordinate with inventory team for sound condition equipments/empty repo units (if required).
