Job description
As a Tax Manager in our Withum India office, youll becollaborating and working with the US Tax Services group on various taxengagements. You ll also have the opportunity to mentor and build a team of taxstaff to work with on these engagements.
RequirementsRoles & Responsibilities:
- Top side/detail review of complex partnership, corporation(Single & Consolidation returns) and S Corporation returns prepared bystaff/senior/AM.
- Resolve queries recognized by Staff/Senior on potentialtax adjustments due to tax law changes.
- Identify international filing requirements by Org chartstudy and review international tax returns.
- Train existing/new joiners on concepts & technologyand share timely feedback for each of the projects
reviewed.
- Supervise kickoff & regular connects with UScounterparts by teams and intervene in budget conflicts,
resource schedulingconflicts, etc.
- Guide team on efile validation of returns to free fromrejects and errors.
- Manage and coach aligned professionals for their careerpath.
- Responsible for quality & turnaround of returns foraligned office/niche.
- Provide regular and detailed feedback and keep motivatingteam during Tax seasons.
- Maintain good correspondence with US point of contacts forseamless process flow and regularly
touch-base withscheduler to keep team occupied and share returns status.
- Execute assignments in an effective manner includingappropriate delegation and monitoring of work.
- Assist in hiring as and when need arise to place potentialcandidates.
- Assist leadership team with analyzing the data and provideinsights to help them to navigate the plan.
- Have regular connect with aligned professionals todiscuss potential opportunities for growth
of the business andteam members.
- Performance review of aligned professionals and provideclear career path for them to grow.
- Provide construction feedback along with potentialopportunities from improvements and growth.
